Hamilton

So, I am finally here in Hamilton, start working next Monday. I arrived here on Sunday morning, accomodated in one hostel and then went to city to view the flats. One was really good, for good price and nice location (10 minutes walk from work), so I moved in already on Sunday evening.

On Monday I was really tired, because of the walking the whole day (maybe 20 kilometers?) and because of the hot weather. I was just at home, unpacking and walking a bit around. On Tuesday morning Steve (one dancer from Wellington) wrote me that he is in Hamilton and if I have time in the afternoon/evening that he can show me it around. We met at six and he drived around the Hamilton, showing me the city centre and spots around. And then we went to see waterfalls nearby (30 km). It was so beautiful! :-) Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me. It was really nice evening. Today we will maybe go dancing :-)

And I've just returned home from the first visit of my future work. They were really nice and friendly, everyone was smiling. I really hope it will stay like this :-)
