Abel Tasman Coast Track

On Friday afternoon I flew to Nelso, which is city on the North of South Island. Johana (my flatmate) and one other Czech girl were already there. We went directly to Marahau, which is at the beginning of Abel Tasman track. It is one the famousest places here in New Zealand. Deep forests, yellow beaches and clearest blue sea :-)

On Saturday morning we used water taxi and went 3/4 of the way. It was beautiful, sunny weather. Amazing! We started to walk. It isn't hard, sometimes going up, sometimes going down. In the afternoon we stopped at one beach where we have also shelter for the night. And we spent the whole afternoon laying on the beach :-) Laying, not swimming, sea is cold! I went there for one minute and it was enough.

The next day started to rain and kept raining the whole day. We were completely soaked. But even though the rain, it was such a nice weekend :-) I want to go there again and do the whole track.

Here are some photos: Abel Tasman
