Moving to Christchurch

This post is coming quite late, but better late than later.

My job in Hamilton finished on 19th July and I moved to Christchurch on 25th July. First four days I was in hostel, walking around the city and visiting flats. I think that I have seen more than six flats. It is quite hard here in Christchurch to find a flat. There to extremes - cheap flats, usually full of young students, old and dirty. And on the other hand nice flats, in good location, but quite expensive. I found one nice flat for resonable price and I moved there. The only problem was that it has no internet connection. But the owner told that it would be no problem to get it. I was there two weeks and later it turn out that we won't get the connection, because he has a lot of debts and noone will provide connection to him. So, I started to look for a new flat again...

At that time I had already started working at the University of Canterbury. I went to work and usually after it I went to visit another flat. And - finally I found one :-) It is two storey house, there are three other people, two boys and one girl. All of them about my age and full time working. I have my big room downstairs with my own bathroom. It is just 20-25 minutes walking from the uni. I am really happy that I am here. I was getting tired of looking for new flat and spending all my evenings out. And we have internet :-) so, skype and emails are working again :-)
